Project proposal · Verity Consulting Co., Inc.

A next generation website for Verity Consulting.

Your brief asks for a review, recommendations, a government contracting section, a managed IT section, a better contact page and a modern design. This proposal covers each of them: a new site designed in your branding from your own facts, a review of the current site with our recommendation, a fixed price and a three-week timeline. $2,500 fixed in two payments, then $99 a month for hosting, updates and unlimited changes.

The new site

What we would build, in your branding.

For an IT consultancy selling to state agencies and companies, the website has three jobs. The new site is built around them: Home, Services, Government Contracting, Past Performance, About, Careers and Contact, built from your own facts plus the ITS43 record.

  • Pass the procurement check

A contracting officer wants the vehicle, the codes, the identifiers and the past performance in thirty seconds. The new site puts them on one page, built as a capability statement, with ITS43 on it from day one and labelled slots for your UEI, CAGE and COMMBUYS details.

  • Prove you have done it before

700,000 jurors a year through a system you built is the most persuasive sentence Verity owns. The new site leads with it, names the five agencies behind it and gives the new Managed IT and Help Desk service a section of its own.

  • Ask for the conversation

Every page ends with a way to talk to Dan: a button in the header, a form with the topic chosen up front, phone and email where a thumb lands.

Your scope of work

Your scope of work, item by item.

  • Review the existing site and recommend improvements

    Done. Section 02.

  • Modernise the design, layout, content and outdated information

A new design in your branding, every page rewritten from your own facts.

  • Improve the IT Services and Capabilities sections

Five services in one section, each with a route to contact.

  • Government contracting: vehicles, certifications, NAICS codes, past performance

A capability statement section plus a downloadable PDF. ITS43 in from day one, you supply the rest at kickoff.

  • Managed IT Services / Help Desk section

A section of its own, with the help desk shown working.

  • Contact, calls to action, responsive on every device

A button in every header, a real form, phone and email everywhere. Designed at phone width first.

  • Basic on-page SEO, broken links and formatting

Titles, descriptions, sharing tags and structured data on every page. Every link checked after launch.

  • Staging and backups, examples, timeline, fixed price, access needed

Every change on a preview link first. Examples in section 05, timeline and access in 03, price in 04.

The review & our recommendation

What we found, and what we recommend.

We analysed every page, the code behind them and the public procurement record. The company is in good shape. Three changes bring the site up to the same standard.

  • A current foundation, every page brought up to date

The site runs on a custom WordPress theme from 2016 with a Bootstrap grid and a jQuery compatibility layer, and the copyright and careers page date from the same year. It has served the company well. A new foundation lets the design move forward again.

What changes: a current platform, every page reading 2026 in your own words.

  • Government contracting and past performance on the front page

Your ITS43 contract with the Commonwealth is on the public record and is the strongest credential you hold, and 700,000 jurors a year is your best sentence. Neither is on the home page yet.

What changes: a capability statement section and the case study on the first screen.

  • Easy to find, easy to contact

The pages carry no descriptions, sharing tags or structured data yet, and visitors meet two phone numbers and no button. Small changes here decide who finds you and whether they get in touch.

What changes: search tags on every page, one phone number everywhere, a way to get in touch on every page.

On WordPress

Our recommendation: build the new site on Next.js.

Your brief asks for a WordPress developer, and this is the most important recommendation on the page. Whitelam Media built WordPress sites for ten years, so it comes from experience. Every WordPress site is a server, a database, a core release, a theme and a set of plugins that all move under it, and keeping them in step is why your posting ends by asking for someone available for future updates. That effort is better spent on the site itself.

The new site is built in Next.js, the modern web standard used by companies that treat speed and security as requirements. Pages load fast on any device, there is no admin login or plugin stack to defend, and a clean, well-structured codebase is exactly what AI-assisted development works best with, so new pages and features can be added quickly and at low cost for years to come.

Two colleagues reviewing a website on screen together

Built on Next.js, the framework behind a lot of the modern web.

Next.js is the platform used by companies that treat speed as a requirement rather than a target. Pages are pre-rendered and served from a global network, images are converted and sized for each device automatically, then only the code a page needs is ever sent to the browser.

It also ages well. There is no theme to outgrow and no plugin stack to maintain, so the site you launch this year is the site you can still extend in five, including as AI-assisted development changes how quickly new features can be added.

Timeframe & process

Three weeks, four stages.

Built and live in 3 weeks. Your feedback rounds are unlimited, so you set the pace of the final reviews.

  1. 01

    Kickoff

    $1,250 on kickoff

Your facts, your numbers, your photographs

One call. You give us the contract vehicles, NAICS codes, UEI and CAGE, certifications, the agencies you can name, any past performance you want featured, team photographs if you want them, and the numbers you want to advertise.

Your part: One call and a short list of facts.

  2. 02

    Weeks one and two

    Included

Home page first, then every page

The home page is designed in your branding and put on a private preview link you can send round the office. Once you are happy with it, Services, Government Contracting, Past Performance, About, Careers and Contact follow the same pattern with your real information.

Your part: Click through and tell us what to change. As many times as you like.

  3. 03

    Week three

    Included

Contact routing, capability statement, launch checks

The contact form wired to the addresses you choose. The capability statement produced as a PDF from the same content as the page, so they never drift apart. Every page tested on real phones and tablets, every link checked, search engines told the site is here.

Your part: Approve the form recipients and the PDF.

  4. 04

    Launch

    $1,250 on completion

Domain pointed, old site retired, monthly begins

verityconsultinginc.com points at the new site. Every old address is permanently forwarded to its replacement. The WordPress installation and its hosting bill are retired. From this day the $99 a month covers everything.

    Your part: Say go.

What we need from you

Seven things, including access to the current site.

We log into the current site, take a full copy and check that every page, image and piece of contact information is carried across correctly before anything goes live. The current site stays online and untouched until the day the domain moves. Revisions are unlimited at every stage, before launch and after it.

  • Your logo in vector, if you have it. If not, we redraw it from the current mark
  • Contract vehicles, NAICS codes, UEI, CAGE code, certifications and COMMBUYS details
  • Agencies and companies you are able to name, and any past performance you want featured
  • Who a contact form message should reach, and whether support requests go somewhere different
  • Team photographs if you want people on the site. The design works without them
  • Access to the domain registrar, and to Google Search Console if you have it
  • An administrator login for the current WordPress site, so we can copy and check everything that is on it
Price & terms

One fixed price and one monthly figure.

Everything in this proposal is inside the fixed price. The monthly figure covers everything after launch, including changes.

The build

Design & build, fixed

$2,500fixed, for the whole site

Every page, the government contracting section, the capability statement PDF, the managed IT section, the contact routing, the forwarding of every old address, testing and launch. Reviewable on a live link throughout.

  • On kickoffYour facts received, the build begins$1,250
  • On completionEverything built, tested, forwarded and live on your domain$1,250
  • Total, fixed$2,500

No software licence and no per-seat cost. The framework and the page editor are free and open source, so the only recurring cost is the figure opposite.

Invoicing & payment

Whitelam Media invoices from Spain, so the invoice carries no sales tax and nothing is added on top. $2,500 is what you pay. Card or bank transfer in US dollars.

After launch

Everything, monthly

$99per month, all in

Hosting, the certificate, backups, monitoring, security, speed, keeping the platform current, and unlimited changes and revisions. Email us the change and it is done, on a preview link first.

  • Unlimited changes and revisions: new text, new photographs, a new agency, a new NAICS code, a new page
  • Payload CMS included if you ever want to edit a page yourselves. You will not need to
  • No retainer beyond the monthly figure and no minimum term
  • The only thing outside it is a new feature, quoted in advance

What counts as a new feature

Client accounts and a client portal, online invoicing and payment, contract signing, a ticketing system behind the help desk page. All of these are things Whitelam Media builds, on the same platform, when you want them. None of them is needed to launch.

Example work

Three projects, designed, built & launched.

Your brief asks for WordPress examples and for IT consulting, professional services and B2B examples. Here are three, all designed and built end to end by Whitelam Media: two in Next.js and one in WordPress.
